Reimagining a retail legacy — from treasured rugs to a complete world of home.
Retail Concept & Interior Styling // 3000 sq ft
The formal brief asked us to reimagine the retail space to accommodate new furniture and bed linen collections. But the deeper brief, the one we listened to most carefully, asked us to gently, gracefully guide the Obeetee visitor toward a new understanding of the brand. One that honours everything they already know and love about it, while opening a door to something richer. Our mandate: make the transition feel inevitable, not disruptive. Earned, not imposed.

We approached this project the way one furnishes a much-loved home, with intention, patience, and an acute sensitivity to how people actually live. Every design decision was grounded in one question: does this make the visitor feel at home? The result is a retail environment that functions less like a showroom and more like an inhabited residence, a space you want to linger in, return to, and draw inspiration from.
Obeetee’s DNA is tactile. It is a brand understood through touch as much as sight, where value lives in the hand, in the texture of wool, the weight of weave, and the quiet evidence of craft. The redesign of the store translates this sensibility into space. Surfaces invite contact, textiles are layered with intention, and lighting carries a warmth that recalls candlelight while remaining clear and precise.
